The Triangle Football Development program is a term based training program developed by Kazuya Ito, and run by specialist coaches in Brisbane, Osaka, Tokyo. The program is based on development of individual technical and tactical skills within a team environment, giving players the confidence and ability to perform football skills under pressure with consistency.
Sessions are run daily and timed to fit around school and club commitments. Members are able to choose sessions before school (6:30 am to 7:45 am) and after school (4:00 pm to 5:15 pm, 5:20 pm to 6:35 pm) on weekdays, with 2 sessions scheduled per day on weekends dependent on coach playing commitments.
TFD sessions combine the best elements of Japanese and Australian training methods, with high volumes of repetition combined with cognitive stimulation and competitive exercises that challenge players to continually improve their skill execution and their game awareness.
All TFD members use the Team App platform, and use the schedule feature to make bookings for their preferred sessions.
Registration for TFD is paid via direct deposit to our Triangle Football Development bank account. Membership of TFD is charged on a per term basis, allowing members to access as many sessions as they would like to each term.
TFD offers playing opportunities in tournaments throughout Japan and Australia, including the International Tournament in Japan and Australia. These are optional tours on an invitational basis.
